whatmin why did tor browser remove OS spoofing
i wasn't even aware they removed it until now, seems kinda bad if you are on linux

do you use it, or do you just proxy your normal browser through your system's tor?

They removed it because it never worked in the first place, the browser would lie and send Windows user agent in HTTP headers, but javascript has a separate user agent that would readily tell them, actually, it's Linux.

This actually broke Tiktok for like 2 years on Firefox with resist.fingerprinting because it didn't like that.

It's not a threat anyway unless you have some extremely unique UA like your browser is reporting TroonBSD RISCV.

I have ota archived (thumbnail only, only /jp/ and /ghost/) up to February. It's only 2.1GB. I'll get around to uploading it to the server eventually, I have to modify the filepaths and re-figure out the correct scp command to copy folders.
