The amount of abuse normalfags will take has no bounds.

The government and corporations could tell them they need a full-blown rootkit on all computers to protect the children, and they'd call you a paranoid schizo pedophile for opposing it.

That's just the lumpenproletariat retard world we live in.

are you talking about things in general or specifically the systemd changes? what do you think about it? it seems to me like it's just adds another queryable optional field like one already exists for your real name or time zone or whatever which you don't fill in either

Things in general, of course the systemd change is a complete joke and doesn't do anything harmful as it currently stands. Inherently you can remove anything harmful from Linux.

It's a stepping stone to eventually requiring 3rd-party age-verification attestation that gives you a signed token at the OS level, they will say, "okay now that every OS already asks your age and the API is in place, let's make it truly verify your age to protect the children".

Websites and services will soon require this API, and yes for the time being your web browser can absolutely just lie about it. Phones and apps not so much, and in the future like I said they'll be wanting a signed token.

what steps will you be taking in order to protect the children from acessing /what/

Think bigger. If they make a law requiring ISPs to ensure proper age verification handshake before accessing the web then we're all screwed.

Yes as long as the internet stays global, free OS still exist, and not literally every country on Earth obeys, then the internet will continue working in some form, it may even ironically boost traffic to underground sites, but they sure are trying to kill the internet.

uhh unless you're exclusively accessing the internet through public networks or something your ISP obviously already knows your name, date of birth and address

Look, retard. There is no limit to how far those technocratic psychopaths will go to make your experience on the web unbearable. Their end goal is to guide everyone towards using a very limited scope of fully centralized, highly vetted services like a bunch of social media platforms, some entertainment, and some schooling. Everything that's not NWO approved will simply cease to exist through elimination and coercion. If you think it's impossible now you'd be wrong. Need I remind you that they have all the money and you have no money? At this point they will keep lobbying and passing the necessary legislature for pennies and nobody will be held accountable. Cry about it all you want you'll get shut down and in 5 years they are going to take away your government mandated ID and label you a terrorist for even trying to speak out against it.
