It loads like crap now. Speaking of which I suspect hosting a private server is going to cost you an arm and a leg in the not so distant future, all with the limited hardware supply and such. They might let people rent some space on these massive ai data centers somewhere where it can keep a close eye on them.

it's time to dust off those old outdated computers you have lying around doing nothing and turn them into (more than capable!) servers and start hosting things from home

that said, to host things like ota you really only need the most bottom of the barrel vps tier which cost like 5-10 bucks and even if the prices double they wouldn't really be prohibitively expensive

this is the hosting company that hosts ota, cheapest plan is only 3.9 dollars
