anyway, should i bite the bullet and buy 32 gigs of ram for 140 eurobucks until the price goes even more up thanks to ai companies fucking buying everything up

i don't really need it, but at this point the price's gonna just keep increasing and who knows if the prices are going to stabilize after ai bubble bursts

Nah prices are only up because the DRAM manufacturers intentionally cut production earlier this year to artificially dry up supply and raise prices. They'll go back down in 2026 but it will still be a higher new normal.

There's literally 3 companies who can make advanced DRAM and yes, they are not truly "competing". Samsung/Hynix/Micron.
