At least they are not monitoring my mind. I'm not a terrorist so there is no reason to anyway. They probably would if they could considering their track record but it's impossible to read brain frequencies transmitting electrical signals in the 4 Hz to 100 Hz range anyway.

Actually we've had mapped all the brain frequencies since like 1970 and hospitals have been doing it for quite a while. So it is absolutely possible to read minds and even has been put to practical use.

Well, even if it is entirely possible and they have had the technological means for nigh on three decades, that doesn't mean they would. The CIA has a 100 year track record of abuses, questionable applications of power and outright lawbreaking but I'm sure they would never do such a thing.

Actually, since this technology has obvious military applications they have been researching just that for at least the past couple of decades. Sources are scarce since this is obviously classified at the highest level and snitches get lots of stiches, but it has been proven time and again that modulated ultrasound can trigger nerve endings to fire remotely. Varying frequencies can also induce audible or visual hallucinations like the sensation of a familiar smell or noises and even images like the ones you picture inside your head can be forcefully induced.

To add to this, since this research is very human centric, they have more than likely been grooming children as living test subjects from a very early age. As they have been exposed to these abuses so frequently they probably don't recognize the signs as abnormal, and if recognized they are usually corellated with symptoms of mental illnesses like those from the autism spectrum or ADHD. As such most living victims don't recognize themselves as victims of these artificially induced mental illneses.
