 No.28145

Just got a Switch Pro controller.

I really like how it feels. Didn't know Linux drivers are currently out-of-kernel though.

 No.28148

Out of kernel for Switch's operating system? I thought Nintendo used Minix plus their proprietary userland.

If you're just using it for desktop, that's a bit surprising. Mainline drivers for controllers is one thing Linux seems to do well. I ordered an 8bitdo controller on Ali, so I'll see if that works out.

Now that I think about it for literally a second, it would be stupid for a Switch controller to not be compatible with a Switch under any circumstance. Also, RIP Hatsune Miku Dominoes app.

The pro one. It's the most featureful.

The + one with the handles. It has the most buttons. Speaking of which, I just got mine in the mail. I haven't used it enough to really have a strong opinion, but it has in interesting feel in the hand. The buttons are shallow but tactile for membrane buttons.
