was thinking about my neet days this morning
it was a slow and relatively peaceful existence
i didn't have much money so had to make do with things i already had and also things i bought were more rare and special

i didn't drink as often so it was more of an event
my computers were old but did the job
was like taking several years off and just indulging and exploring media
i used to bake bread…

vice is difficult to resist when money isn't as much of an issue

I don't miss my NEET days at all. The whole time is spent with this overhanging feeling that i should be doing something else. To describe it simply, I had the same feeling when I was studying, like that i should be doing my homework that's due in a few days. It's a horrible nagging looming feeling and in the context of NEET days, the feeling just doesn't go away.

I'm a lot happier when I've got some expendable income and a bit of a routine but not working full time. I wish 3-4 day work weeks were the standard and any more than that should be compensated overtime.
