I have some old MADs from the 50s and 60s (and 70s and 80s too). Pic rel is my oldest issue.

It's really sad now, it's shitty humor marketed to college "liberals". Like every fucking issue has trump shit. They always made fun of politicians but last time I looked at it it was mostly political stuff, and no edgy stuff like OP.

I do still check the last page when I see it in the store just to make sure Al Jaffee is still alive.

biggest market is probably teens at least traditionally. Not sure if teens buy magazines anymore though.
