If someone had 2 million dollars in a brokerage account, a 1% average loss across all their stocks would result in a $20,000 loss.

I think this is the guy who claimed to have about $200,000 in crypto (fucking retard for not opening a real brokerage account and buying real companies, because instead he wanted to put literally all 200k into fake currencies).

He probably had about a 10% decline in whatever stupid coins he was holding. Certainly not a "crash". I don't know how he is surprised, crypto moves 10% on any given day for no reason. A stock moving 10% is a big deal.

There is legitimate value to crypto currency.

- It is not controlled by any government
- It doesn't require a bank
- It can be transferred anywhere in the world in a private transaction with nothing but a PC
- You can make transactions and purchases fully privately without the government or law enforcement knowing

The problem is that people created thousands of shit coins, basically scams.

And the price is based off wild extreme speculation.
