I tried playing Resident Evil 2 today. Never played any RE game except 4.

It was really difficult. I got to the part with the first licker, and basically without save states I would've had to restart the game.

There was no healing items, and I was one hit away from death. If I went back to last save I was still one hit away from death.

You're basically just forced to restart the game or go back to an even older save.

I just quit.
