I don't like it either it's weird. I'm not attracted to old men so I should not have to gave into their eyes at job interviews.

Extremely uncomfortable for me.

I will look away from someone and talk to them. I can't talk while making direct eye contact.

I only do eye contact with people that I find aesthetically pleasing.

ie. I don't make eye contact with uglies; I do a lot of eye contact with my underage cousin. She's quite often embarrassed because of it.

I do this, too, but only not so creepy. Some times we get into staring contests. I always win, because I can keep my eyes open pretty much indefinitely despite the discomfort, which is relatively minor. I've always been confused why people have such a hard time not blinking. Like, yeah, it's uncomfortable, but there are much greater discomforts in life.
