I feel like imageboards as a source of creativity and epic memes are dead. I mean, all those other sites seem way better than 4chan. Like Gaia, and even imgur, seem more stimulating nowadays. Black Twitter makes the most original and funny memes nowadays, even 4chan ends up ruining them, like the "Just fuck my shit up" meme.

I guess the point is 'meme culture' is completely mainstream and more creative and productive and overall better from sources outside of imageboards. Like, there's no point in using imageboards anymore, except if you want to talk like 10 year olds talk to each other because you're too emotionally stunted to speak with the awareness and level of respect and understanding that normal adults have for each other.
