I don't let my mom take any pictures of my birthdays so it's not that bad, plus I'm not as ugly as most of the people in these pictures usually are so even if she did take pictures they wouldn't look too damn bad.

I look bad in pictures unless they're taken in perfect conditions, if I just posted a picture of my face with no context you would make fun of me but if we met up in real life you would feel differently.

The camera is closer to the truth when you have good lighting, and I do not. Also, there are very few people that would be attractive if all you had of them was a self-taken snapshot, I'd have to have someone else take the picture for me.
