ok today I stole an iPhone 6 from some rich family (they have multiple unused iPhones there because they are rich)
I did a factory reset and I had to sign in with their apple id because find my iphone was connected
any chance that they can track me down? (was connected to my wifi for a short time)
will I go to prison???ßß

The owners probably can't, but Apple has a database and they can easily see where the phone is. If the owner goes to the Apple store and asks to locate the phone, you are fucked no matter how many factory resets you did

Why would you steal an iPhone? It's useless if it has someone's account on it. Even the FBI had to beg Apple to help then bypass the login screen.
