I don't really know what this thread's about but it looks like something to do with guns. So what's up with people going on murder sprees primarily to "promote their manifesto"?

There's been many killers who have done that, Unabomber, Breivek, Dorner, etc.

The Unabomber seemed really intelligent too, but you have to realize that even though no one is going to give a shit about your thoughts before the killings, the only thing people are going to think afterwards is "deranged psycho thoughts I still don't give a shit about".

It is the only way they have to get their ideas known. No one would know about them if they didn't do those murder sprees. Although it is true that without mass support individual terrorism is useless since people aren't going to back your actions
