I got a PS5 controller a few days ago.

Works great on Linux, Steam has support for it and maps it correctly in xinput games like an Xbox controller.

Rumble works, analog sticks feel very smooth. Buttons feel a bit better than PS4, more clicky.

My PS4 controller still feels good, but it's several years old.

$70 is expensive but I know I eventually wanted one so what's the point in waiting if I'm gonna buy it anyway?

I just wanted to feel that new gaming tech.

+ A Sony employee submitted a patch to the Linux kernel which added official support for it, including rumble etc. So big kudos to Sony for doing that, because they never did for the PS4 controller.

It's not all that much better than the PS4 controller.

Analog sticks are smoother, the buttons feel more clicky/better.

A bit heavier.

USB C port which is a hell of a lot better than micro-USB though.

Yes.

I like analog sticks on the same level better, and Switch Pro doesn't have analog triggers or good Windows/Linux support.
