Good, I hope they only allow software from the Windows App Store too, and destroy backwards compatibility with Windows software.

The more they do the quicker Windows dies and Linux/open source takes over.

Ok so you should have enough money to use Linux and either have a second PC running Windows only for games (or your "work" software) that you can conveniently switch to with a KVM switch, or a second GPU and hardware compatible for VM with GPU passthrough.
