I'm no expert on georgia self-defense law, but I really doubt the officer is in the wrong to kill a guy coming at him with a tazer, even a regular citizen would probably be fine to shoot at that point in many states, so I'd think he'll probably do no time. This is just people going way too far in one direction to pretend that they're capable of scrutiny before their chicken brains need the someone to tell them what the new big concern is. There may have been some kind of malpractice issue with policing law before that point though.
