Thought the latest volumes are diverging away from the usual zombie flick, with the whole kurusu thing and the cliffhanger at the last translated chapter. Not that it's a bad thing but the slight "supernatural" and "messiah" element bugs me a little and i do miss his schizophrenic moments which is rare if any now. Still a great series overall, i can't predict what's going to happen next, which could be a good thing.

I have to say I actually think it's one of the best masterpieces I've ever seen though.

It's definitely one of the best manga i've read, i agree. The pacing, details and framing of each scenes are breathtaking. Despite being a horror manga, it has a lot of iyashikei elements.
