I had irl friends when I was a kid. They were my neighbors in the apartment building I lived and I kind of just grew up already knowing them since I was a little kid. We used to play in the corridor connecting the houses in the floor we all lived, and sometimes the kids from like three floors up would come fight us. But then my parents moved to a different place when I was 11 - much better than the shitty projects I was born in - and I just couldn't make any friends there.

And in school I only ever made one actual visits-you-at-home friend, who moved out of the country when he was like 16-17 and from then on he only came back once a year every summer. I haven't talked to him this year at all so I don't know if he still considers me his friend.
